Change is inevitable. That is one thing that the last few years have taught me. As we walk with the LORD, there are seasons of growth and seasons of rest. As this blog has developed over the last few months, I have seen God's faithfulness. Going to Him each week regarding what to write, giving each post into His hands, praying that it encourages all those who read it. Ultimately, hoping it points you to Him and His love for you. The whole process of setting up a website, starting a blog, and self-publishing a book has been quite the journey of learning. There have been a few hiccups along the way and I am truly grateful for the patience and understanding of my subscribers. It has definitely been a lesson in patience and humility.

Today, I want to share my word for this year, along with some upcoming changes. First, my word for this year is "KNOW". To know God better, and to be known by Him. To spend time in His presence and dive into His word in a much deeper way. To know and to be known, isn't that what we all desire. The amazing thing is that the Creator of the Universe knows us intimately, and He wants us to know Him just as deeply. His Holy Spirit whispers to us, softly calling us to come and know Him. This is my heart's desire for me and for you. The closer He draws me to Himself, the more His peace, love, and joy fill me. It's not something that can be forced. It comes with surrender, being still, and listening to Him through His word and the Holy Spirit.

Here are a few verses that He has already used to start me on this journey of knowing Him as I am known by Him:

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" - Psalm 46:10

"For we know in part and we prophecy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known." - I Corinthians 13:9-12

"Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth." - Hosea 6:3

What does the Lord want to show you this year? Is there a word or verse that He has given you? I pray the LORD gives you eyes to see what He is doing and ears to hear what He is saying to you.

Okay, time for a couple of updates. First, today I began a Christian Counseling Certification program so I can one day offer deeper, more structured support to my sisters who may be grieving or dealing with difficult seasons. For now, I am honored to walk alongside you through this blog and prayers. Second, as I begin this learning journey, I will not be posting blog posts as frequently. I will also be researching some ways to streamline things behind the scenes to make your experience much smoother and more efficient.

As always, please feel free to reach out for prayer, let me know if you have any suggestions for upcoming blog posts, or share a bit of your journey with me. You are such a gift and I am honored to be a small part of your journey.

May the Lord make Himself known to you and may your love for Him grow daily.

Until next time, be blessed!
