You might be asking yourself: "What now? Where do I go from here?" Those are very real questions. I've been asking myself that since my husband passed away. I had been his wife, helpmeet, and caretaker at the end. What was my purpose now? Since his death, I've moved twice and changed jobs twice. It hasn't been easy, but the Lord has been faithful. He has directed every step, and now He's called me to help others who are going through similar circumstances. He has a purpose for you as well. It will look different for each of us, but God is not finished with me, and He is not finished with you.

If you find yourself in a place where you're struggling to know what's next, I encourage you to seek the Lord. Spend time praying and just being with Him. Try grabbing a journal or notebook and writing down what the Lord shows you during your quiet time with Him. The closer we draw to Him, the more He speaks to us and reveals Himself to us. Spend some time meditating on the following scriptures:

Jeremiah 29:11-13; Psalm 27:8; Deuteronomy 4:29; Matthew 6:33

The Lord will show you the next step in His perfect timing. He's not trying to hide things from you. He simply wants you to seek Him and have faith. You can trust Him....He will show you the way. This isn't always easy. We become so consumed by everyday tasks, such as paying bills, and sometimes just trying to find a way to function, that we forget to turn to the one who is the sustainer and giver of life. He is waiting for you to turn to Him.

Father God,

I ask that you bless whoever is reading this. May they seek you for this next season of their life. May they rest in the knowledge that you can be trusted, and you delight in revealing yourself to those who diligently seek you. Please reveal the next step you would have them take. Thank you for your love for my dear friend. Thank you that you have a plan and purpose for their life. May they walk in it and find peace in your presence.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

Amen

God bless you in the week ahead. I look forward to meeting you back here soon!
